The large bottle split, spilling the small ones and they are floating in space. The decanter was one of the items that students could use in a "Challenge" Course. They had to choose 1 from 4 items they were each given. They took the items apart and using the lines and pieces they came up with they had to create a design.

I took slides of the wool as I dyed it for this picture. The slides were used when I was speaker at the OHCG luncheon. The picture was on display and unveiled after the luncheon . The " topic" Dyeing your wool to hook a portrait.

This is a Rittermere-Hurst-Field pattern. I used it for a class also everyone hooked it from mostly recycled wool. They carved the tree, buckets and people to give it dimension.
